Varietal & Vintage Blending Process

Barca International Wineries, Vineyards, Brands & Trademarks, USA & Italy has been producing wines for several centuries and uses a Special Century old age wine making process and formula in blending varietal and vintage wines. Barca wines choose the best vintage and varietal grapes from certain areas of California to make the best premium wines possible. These premium grapes and varietals have to meet our specified grape crush and wine making process and procedures. Barca Premium and Vintage wines are aged in the very best stainless steel tanks and French Oak Cast barrels; we are considered one of the very best winery facilities in California, USA & Italy and around the world..

Barca International Wineries, Vineyards, Brands & Trademarks, USA & Italy selects only the best grapes and produces the best premium wines which are on a limited supply basis only. Our Barca Wine labels will specify the vintage year and grape crush, variety of wine, and the area where the 100% varietal grapes come from. Barca Wine Cellars of California's special wine making and century old age process formula is as follows:

Barca Mountain Generic and Vintage Wines (Blends)and Varietals

BARCA GENERIC WINES are named for wine regions that are universally known, and whose wines are considered typical. Burgundy, Chablis, Sherry and Port are generic names.

  • BARCA VARIETAL WINES are named after the principal grape variety used in their production. Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc, Gamay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Semillon and Zinfandel are varietal names.
  • BARCA VINTAGE DATES - when a date is shown on a label, all the wine in the bottle is of that year.
  • BARCA ESTATE WINES - when a bottle of our wine has Estate Bottled on the label, it means the wine grapes produced for that wine were proven on the winery premises.
Barca Premium Generic Wines
Our Barca Premium Generic Wines are blended in a vintage wine making procedure from the best varieties and vintage grapes that could be put into a generic wine.

Barca Burgundy and Red Table Wines

Our Premium Burgundy and Red table Generic Wines are blended in a premium vintage procedure. These wines are a variety blend of Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from our best vineyards in California and Italy

Barca Chablis White Table Wines

Our Premium Chablis and White Table Generic Wines are blended in a premium vintage procedure. These wines are a variety blend of French Colombard, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Chardonnay grapes from our best vineyards in California and Italy and around the world.

BARCA ROSE WINES
  • VIN ROSE (Van Roe-zay) - A gay pink wine, delicate fruity; of outstanding character and flavor. It harmoniously accompanies many foods.
  • BARCA RED WINES
  • CABERNET SAUVIGNON - The finest red wine variety grown in the Napa valley. A medium to full bodied dry wine with great depth and color. Astringent when young but velvety and smooth with proper age. Its bouquet and flavor is characteristic of the variety.
  • MERLOT (Mer-lo) - A very fine red wine variety grown in the Napa Valley. A medium to full bodied dry wine with great depth and color. Similar to a Cabernet Sauvignon, but less astringent, and requiring less aging for that velvet smooth quality.
  • PINOT NOIR - (Pea-no Nwahr) - A dry red wine that is harmonious in balance, soft yet pleasingly tart. The aristocrat of all Burgundy varieties.
  • GAMAY BEAUJOLAIS - (Gamay Bo-jo-lay) - A light dry medium bodied wine with a somewhat delicate flavor. One of the most fruity of red wines and very zesty in character.
  • ZINFANDEL - A fruity dry red wine, truly Californian. It is soft, spicy, yet unique in character.
  • BURGUNDY - A superior dry red table wine, well balanced, medium bodied with a pleasing bouquet and flavor.
  • CLARET - A dependable dry red wine. Light in body, delicate in flavor and pleasing to the palate.
BARCA WHITE WINES
  • JOHANNISBERG RIESLING - (Reez-ling) - A dry white wine with a fragrant softness - light to medium bodied with the distinctive flavor of the variety. The finest of the Riesling Family.
  • GREY RIESLG - (Reez-ling) - A soft, fruity, light, fresh uncomplicated white wine made from the Grey Riesling or Chauche Gris grapes.
  • GEWURZ TRAMINER\ - (Ge-woorts Tra-mee-ner) - Straw to light gold in color with a distinguished varietal aroma and flavor that is spicy and almost Muscat-like, medium bodied and well balanced.
  • CHENIN BLANC (Shaw-nan Blahnk) - A crisp, medium dry white wine of medium body, made from the Chenin Blanc grape. It possesses the fruity bouquet and flavor unique to this variety.
  • CHARDONNAY - Rare wine from the Chardonnay grape. Medium bodied and dry with a flavor that is characteristic of the variety. One of the finest of white wines.
  • FUME-BLANC (Foo-may) - A piquant, dry, medium bodied white wine made from the Sauvignon Blanc grape. It has a spicy aroma with considerable finesse and longevity.
  • CHABLIS (Sha-blee) - A sprightly, light bodied dry white wine.
  •  MUSCAT CANELLI - A romatic, pale, fairly sweet, delicate white wine with characteristic bouquet and flavor of the Muscat grape. Serve chilled
